A two-and-a-half-hour accompanied tour designed for groups where a family member or friend uses a wheelchair. Thanks to adapted bikes from Dutch manufacturer Van Raam, everyone comes along: same streets, same stories, same pleasure, and nobody is left behind on the pavement. And, in the charitable spirit of the suspended coffee, this tour can also be booked and paid for on behalf of the person of your choice, as a gift: you give it, they enjoy it on a date that suits them.

By advance booking only: the adapted bike is brought out specially for your tour. We ask a companion of the wheelchair user to be there at the start to help them settle in; the guide takes care of securing the wheelchair and of safety throughout the tour. Three bikes, five guests, nobody left behind.
These tours ride out with an electric Hase Pino tandem, whose front seat takes whoever would rather be carried along, semi-recumbent and facing the city, plus two Tern GSD R14 for their companions, each able to carry a passenger. Up to five participants with a single guide.

Indicative prices, entrance fees and tastings along the route included; we confirm the final price in writing before any payment. Tours preferably run Tuesday to Thursday; “Of Gods and Hills” never departs on a Friday, the day the Great Mosque closes to visitors. Interiors are visited in silence; the stories are told on the forecourts. Routes and access are adapted to times of worship and to works in progress; the exact route is confirmed when you book.

Do I need to be a good cyclist?
You just need to be able to pedal and keep your balance. The electric assist does most of the work, including on the climbs. We take a few minutes at the start to get you comfortable on the bike, and the guide adapts the pace to the group. Tours use cycle paths and quiet streets as much as possible.
Is there a minimum age?
The tour suits adults and teenagers who can ride independently. For younger children, get in touch: depending on their height and confidence, we'll look at the best option. Minors take part under the responsibility of an accompanying adult.
What happens if it rains?
A little rain doesn't stop us; the route is simply adapted. If the weather makes the outing uncomfortable or unsafe, we offer you either a new date or a refund. We let you know as early as possible.
What language are the tours in?
In French or English. Tell us which you prefer when you book. For a private tour, we run it in whichever of the two suits your group.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Our tours are leisure services provided on an agreed date. As such, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases does not apply (Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code). Our cancellation and rescheduling conditions are given to you before booking and will appear in our terms of sale.
Can I join the tour with a wheelchair?
Yes, with the Balade Suspendue: a two-and-a-half-hour package in which the wheelchair user travels on a Van Raam adapted bike ridden by the guide, while their companions pedal our electric bikes. The VeloPlus lets you stay in your own manual wheelchair (up to 72 cm wide, person and wheelchair up to 140 kg); the OPair offers a front seat with supports. Advance booking is essential, since the adapted bike is brought out for your tour.
Where do we start and how long is the tour?
Departure is from the 7th arrondissement of Paris; the exact meeting point is confirmed at booking. Each tour lasts about three hours, stops included, for a dozen kilometres covered effortlessly thanks to the electric assist.
