Wander SAS takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data is collected via wander-ride.paris, why, how long it is kept and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French data-protection law.
Language of this policy
This policy is drafted in French and translated into English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Greek, Latin, Hebrew and Russian. All ten versions describe the same processing operations, the same purposes, the same retention periods and the same rights: they carry the same informational value. The French version serves as the reference for the identification of the French legal provisions cited. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the interpretation most protective of the data subject prevails.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Wander SAS, 26 rue Bosquet, 75007 Paris, France — contact@wander-ride.paris.
2. Data collected
When you fill in the booking-request form, we collect:
- your first and last name;
- your email address and, if provided, your phone number;
- your request details: number of people, preferred tour or theme, preferred date, language;
- the free text of your message.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- To answer your request and prepare the tour: performance of pre-contractual measures then of the contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6.1.c GDPR).
4. Recipients
Your data is intended for Wander SAS and its staff handling requests. Strictly necessary information may be shared with the host in charge of your tour. Our hosting and email provider (Hostinger) acts as a processor. No data is sold or transferred for commercial purposes.
5. Retention period
- Request with no follow-up: up to 3 years from the last contact.
- Fulfilled booking: for the duration of the relationship, then archived according to accounting obligations (up to 10 years for accounting records).
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Your data is hosted within the European Union. Should a processor transfer it to a third country, this would be covered by the appropriate safeguards provided by the GDPR (in particular standard contractual clauses).
7. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them: contact@wander-ride.paris. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
8. Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Only technical local storage is used to remember the display language you choose; it requires no consent and is not shared with third parties.
